These are two Dimensional pictures of tanks, one is texture mapped and one is flat shaded/colored. The second one clearly has more detail (the texture mapped one), and looks more realistic. For example, you can see the detail in the wheels and the parts that wrap around the wheels (that are light blue in picture 1) have much more detail and lines. There are lines and textures added on various parts of tank 2 that give it more of a textured and realistic look.
