Class 7 Assignment

2B: This is the stroke part, I used all three types of tools to make different shapes and gave them all different stroke options. In the stroke selection part I changed all of the options for every shape, using patters and solid colors throughout.

2C: This is the Paste Into section, I used two photos that I found on google images and pasted them into shapes, first an ellipses then a rectangle. I had to save the images and open them in Gimp, then copy the image from there and paste into the shapes. I added my name with the paintbrush tool.

 2D: This was the transparency section where I made different shapes transparent. I created a New Layer and selected transparency for that, then added an ellipses, rectangle, and arrow shape. I then changed the opacity to be in the 60s to make those shapes show behind the picture. I then added my name with the text tool and that created a new layer, and I made that one's opacity lower also.

2E: This was the assignment I did playing with text. I first had the layer with my original image, and then added transparent layers. When I would start a text box it would create a new layer, so I would right click on that and click Merge Down so the text layer would merge with the transparent layer. I did that five times and used different fonts, sizes, colors and percent of opacity each time.

2F: This was the scaling assignment. For the first image I change the scaling from 164x164 to 82x82 to make it half the size it was originally. Then for the second one I unlocked the link between height and width and made the height in the 130s and width in the 50s to give it a different look.
